I’m Dawn. I’m a mum to two wonderful little girls, wife, a paramedic, and the proud author of the Panda Paramedic children’s book series.

As a paramedic, I see every day how critical first aid knowledge can be in an emergency. Yet, far too often, I meet people who lack even the most basic first aid skills. I believe everyone should feel confident and capable of acting in a medical crisis – and what better place to start than with our next generation of little lifesavers?

That’s why I created Panda Paramedic, a fun and educational children’s book series. Imagine the charm of Peppa Pig and the bravery of Fireman Sam, but with a panda paramedic as the star! Inspired by my youngest’s love for pandas, these engaging stories teach children – and their grown ups – essential first aid skills in a relatable and enjoyable way. The illustrations, brought to life by the talented Hannah Robinson, add an extra layer of magic to the books.

In addition to the books, we offer basic first aid workshops for children in primary schools.  These interactive sessions are themed around the <i>Panda Paramedic</i> stories and introduce young learners to vital skills in a fun and age-appropriate manner.  Children can even work their way through the workshops to Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards in basic first aid!

For adults, we deliver OFSTED-compliant paediatric first aid courses, as well as bespoke face-to-face training in first aid, resuscitation, and managing medical emergencies. Whether you’re meeting workplace requirements or simply want to learn, these sessions are always interactive, informative, and delivered with a friendly, engaging approach.
